As part of our mission to help North Carolina’s public defense community understand forensic science evidence and achieve better outcomes for clients, the office of the Forensic Resource Counsel continues our efforts to make information related to forensic science evidence more easily accessible to attorneys through this website. In that vein, we are pleased to announce the addition of a trace evidence resources page to the site. The page can be found here and also under the “Forensic Disciplines” tab on the toolbar at the top of the screen.
The resources page is a compilation of posts from this blog as well as existing reports, publications, featured articles, trainings, cases, legislation, and news related to trace evidence in science and the law. The resources collected on the page are designed to serve as a jumping off point for attorneys researching trace evidence disciplines on behalf of their clients.
We would like to thank Jessica Phipps, a law student at UNC Law, for her work developing this page!
