In this virtual webinar, attendees will learn about the services provided by the Toxicology section of the North Carolina State Crime Lab. Evidence submission criteria will be covered so that attorneys and legal teams better understand the process. In addition, an overview of how a case is worked, as well as sampling and reporting, will be provided.
Each webinar from July-December 2025 will be taught by a State Crime Lab scientist and focus on the testing done by the laboratory in their particular discipline. Topics will include drug chemistry, toxicology, trace evidence, digital evidence, DNA, firearms, and latent evidence.
