From 2010-2017, Dr. Gray worked almost fully in the criminal justice system in New York City. She worked in the Manhattan Court Clinic doing competency reports, worked in Brooklyn courts doing diversion assessments, provided treatment at Rikers Island, the New York City jail, and created a program for maintenance of competency there. She also did some immigration cases, dangerousness evals for the state hospital, not criminally responsible cases and occasionally a civil case, including malpractice. She has testified many times, predominantly in treatment court, but also in criminal and immigration court.
