Heidi Eldridge spent over 11 years as a working forensic scientist in the fields of latent prints, crime scene analysis and reconstruction, and controlled substances analysis. She is now a full time forensic science researcher specializing in research into foundational validity of fingerprint comparison work and communication of forensic findings to the fact-finder. She is at the forefront of the forensic science reform movement and spends most of her non-research time educating forensic scientists and attorneys and working with standard-setting organizations.
