I am a forensic psychiatrist who continues to practice clinically at UNC in a variety of settings. My inpatient role consists of assessing and treating patients on the Psychotic Disorders Unit, which is predominantly individuals with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or bipolar disorder. I additionally care for incarcerated individuals on the inpatient admissions/crisis unit at Central Prison in Raleigh, NC. Lastly, I work in two outpatient clinics focused on the assessment and care of individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBIs): a veterans clinic (including patients suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and a clinic focused on retired National Football League (NFL) players.
