Presented by the North Carolina Indigent Defense legal Services, Duke Law Center for Criminal Justice and Professional Responsibility, and the Duke Law Center for Science and Justice, the seventh annual Whiskey in the Courtroom will take place March 4th through 5th. This year the symposium will be hosted virtually through the Duke Law School.
Each year, Whiskey in the Courtroom gathers forensic science experts and attorneys with experience litigating matters involving forensic evidence together for an engaging symposium to help practicing attorneys stay up to date on the latest trends in forensic science and its intersection with the law. This year, the focus of the symposium will be on medical evidence, such as toxicology and forensic nurse examinations. Whiskey in the Courtroom is approved for 6.25 hours of general CLE credit.
